Overview of the four main campaign conclusions

The Blood of Dawnwalker features four distinct narrative conclusions shaped by your stewardship of Coen's humanity, the completion of ancient restorative rituals, and your strategic time management throughout Vale Sangora's thirty-day calendar.

Rather than relying purely on a binary final dialogue prompt, the game evaluates cumulative decisions made across regional quest lines, your moral choices when defeating regional vampire lieutenants, and your progress in purifying the ancestral blood curse.

Understanding the prerequisites for each ending ensures you do not inadvertently lock yourself out of the canonical True Ending during late-game regional campaigns.

Unlocking Ending A: Bloodline Saved (The True Ending)

Achieving the True Ending requires successfully cleansing the vampiric blight from Coen's wife and daughter while preserving Coen's personal humanity above the seventy percent threshold.

To fulfill this requirement, you must solve all three Ancient Circles across southern, marsh, and alpine regions before day twenty-eight to recover the complete Tripartite Cure formula.

Crucially, when defeating regional lieutenants Ambrus, Bakir, and Xanthe, you must refrain from consuming their hearts for selfish vampiric power spikes, choosing instead to destroy their cursed relics and uphold human justice.

Entering the final progenitor's citadel with Coen's humanity intact allows him to execute a permanent severing ritual at sunrise, fully restoring his family and dissolving the regional curse forever.

Alternate paths: The Midnight Sovereign and Bitter Sacrifice

Ending B, The Midnight Sovereign, occurs when players fully embrace the darkness, consuming the blood cores of all defeated vampire lieutenants. This reduces Coen's humanity to zero percent, granting supreme supernatural might but culminating in the eternal transformation of his family into high-ranking vampire royalty under his sovereign rule.

Ending C, The Bitter Sacrifice, triggers if the player fails to gather the complete alchemical cure in time but maintains high moral integrity. Coen offers his own immortal soul to absorb the entirety of his family's curse, restoring them to mortal life while permanently entombing himself as a petrified stone guardian.

Ending D represents the failure state where the thirty-day calendar expires before Coen breaches the progenitor's inner fortress, resulting in the total corruption of Vale Sangora under an unbroken solar eclipse.

Decisive regional forks and lieutenant judgment matrix

Spared versus Executed Lieutenants: Sparing lieutenant lieutenants or purifying their corruption preserves regional civilian trust, keeping market vendors open and providing militia assistance during the final siege.

Consuming Blood Cores: Choosing to ingest lieutenant hearts grants immediate skill points in the Vrakhir mastery tree, but permanently subtracts fifteen humanity points per core, blocking access to Ending A.

Faction Allegiances: Mediating peaceful treaties between human rebel enclaves and persecuted alchemists provides crucial logistics support that saves up to three narrative Action Points in the campaign's final week.
